Selling, Selling, "SOLD" !!!

Selling more and more of 'HIGH QUALITY'
pieces like this ...

Solid, Australian black opal loose stone,
nice proportion with medium dome cabochon,
has over 7.0ct in size, showing some large & beautiful pattern, has 'play of color' and comes with a very dark,
black body tone !!

And the price is right !!!   (^^)

What more could you ask for ??!?

Check out our new collection, which we've just listed online today.

Now that we need new quality opals to replace
what's been sold lately ...

Our fear is the production of Lightning Ridge's
black opal is so low and the price is sky rocking.

The miner is struggling to find any new,
bright opals with dark body tone in opal mine.

How much more can the miner
continue mining opals ?

How much more the price of this 'rare gem'
will continue going up ??

Only GOD knows, haha.

Anyway, while our quality opal's still
available to be purchased online,
do not miss out a chance everyone.

Keep looking for special pieces because
our opals won't be around for the current price
for much longer !!

Less opals therefore more value.

Thanks for your understanding.
(^^)

GEMS from Japan !!

Amazing Firework in Japan ...
It's beauty and powerful image reminds me of some beautiful Australian black opals.

The color is unstoppable !!!

You might find some of our collection similar to these colors & patterns from the website ...

First, gold.

Then it changes to another,
you can not predict what will come next and that's a wonderful thing about the firework.

Just like the "color play" in opal, right ??!!?
They come and go, keeps changing its characters.

Love all the shape, pattern, different sizes, vivid colors
and its preciousness ...

I am enjoying the summer in Japan now,
participating opal shows from time to time and attempting
to promote more through online as well.

But what's more, I am so happy to see and learn more of Japanese culture, being able to wear Kimono and attending to the summer event, to see THIS GEM !!!

Life is too precious ...
Don't stop, keep walking forward ...

Work hard & Play hard (^^)

Missing a blue sky in Gold Coast too !!!
Anyway, cheers from Japan for now.

Play of color on Black Opal

As you might know,
opals, especially Australian opals, have "play of colour".

Each opal can change its color depending
on the lighting or the way you look at.

If you see 100 stones of opals,
you can find 100 different colours from them.
This is the main reason why opal is so unique
compared to other gems.

So, here it is!!!

On this Black Opal, you can see 2 completely
different colours!!

I took a picture from above.

You see so deep green colour, like the Earth.

Then, let's take a look from the front.

WOW!!
I changed the angle just a bit,
but its colour has ovbiously changed!!

Now, from the side.

Blue, but not the same as the picture above.
I guess it shows a strong and bright blue!!

Again, only Black and Boulder opal from Australia
can show this interesting play of colour.

Did you enjoy its beauty??

You can see more to visit Opal Direct website.

Enjoy your day!!!

My curiosity

Good afternoon!!

My favorite painter,
Pierre-Auguste Renoir,
who He was a leading painter
in the development of the Impressionist style.

He painted his impressions of how things looked,
working in the open air
to catch the changing effects
of light on the colours around him.

Here the river is a deep blue,
because the water is reflecting a blue sky.
Reflections of people, boats and buildings cast their own colours into the river.

The flickering surface scatters the light
and splinters the reflections,
breaking up the colours.
The river becomes a kaleidoscope of mixing,
merging colour fragments....

Reflections of colours in the river
 kept changing every second
and he could't see the same scene again.

It would be an impression only in a moment so
it is not so easy to express his impression into his painting.

I guess he was so romantic and
sensitive painter.....

And I can't stop thinking that
if he has seen a Black opal
he must have been interested in
the way that colours react with each other!

I wish I could see
how he plays with the colours of an opal...

Have a lovely day xxx

Say "HELLO" to our NEW BABY...

Been waiting for this "RED"...

I am happy that our friend from 'WINTON OPAL MINE' has brought some new pieces from their opal mines in Winton this week. It can be called 'RED' depending on the lightings, but it would be best to describe this piece as an 'ORANGE RED'...(in my opinion)

What an exciting piece!

A clean face Boulder Opal Loose like this is already a rare find, along with its 'Electric Color', the vividness, the shape and its color change (Play of color) is so gorgeous. Lots of Orange, Gold, Red and Green...

Only those who can hold this piece in their hand will be lucky and happy... I can't wait to design something really special with its unique shape when my customer selects it.
Thanks to our good friend, who is working hard at the mine, digging tones of soil everyday!! "Good Work" indeed.
