NEW black opal & boulder opal for you !!

We have new, exciting, quality opals for you.
Finally  (^^)

Visiting opal miners in Lightning Ridge (N.S.W) and Quilpie (Queensland) has paid off our hard work.

How great it was, when we saw some
beautiful black opals like these ...
right in front of our eyes !!

Then this bright piece of red color, flashy pattern,
what a beautiful black opal loose ...

And this vivid, ultra bright, black body black opal ...

Love its play of color, the depth,
flashy collectible pattern, smooth, long oval shape,
just 'perfect' for a stunning ring !!!

Some boulder opal is as exciting as top quality black opals.

You can not walk pass this rainbow color
boulder opal loose, love its large, strong pattern
and a lovely triangular shape.

Any jewelry designer would be happy to work on this piece for its amazing character, its distinguished beauty and a perfect shape.

Not only 'red' will impress everyone.

Look at this 'gorgeous' blue & green combination!

So intense, so perfect in colors,
easy to work on size, its ultimate and
you just can't stop staring at it.

Another wonderful piece of boulder opal
from Queensland, Australia.

We guarantee, you'll love all our collection!

New or old,
it doesn't really matter !!

Super happy to be able to introduce new pieces like this  (^^) And more to come, just keep checking on our updates.

Some light body black opal (crystal opal, semi black opal,
jelly opal, milk opal) is so affordable but still pretty to look at, so don't underestimate our beautiful opal collection.

Check it out on the web ...

More "opals with smiles" please !!!!!

Looking for more opals for our clients around the world !!!

The reality is harsh though ...
Less quality black opal and boulder opal can be found today, and if there's one, the price tends to be much higher than you're expected.

Our mission is to keep finding the right material, solid Australian opal for the right price, to the right person, in order to keep ourselves & our clients happy .

And the opal industry, of course!   ^^

If you check through our website, you'll fully understand what we meant by 'keeping every happy' ...

The quality of opal is at its maximum and the price, can't complain, right ??!!?   ^^

Finding Australian boulder opal in Queensland (Quilpie, Winton and Opalton) is extremely difficult.

And Black opal from Lightning Ridge is valuable,
too rare and too dear ...

How can we work hard, closely with opal miners today is another task for the wholesaler like us.

Always a big 'challenge' for us!
But loving what we do, haha.

Trying not to lose is a 'hope' and a 'big smile'  (^^)
That's the spirit within all OPAL LOVER !!!

Life is hard at opal mines, but
"Cheers!" my friend.

OPAL COLOR ...

Many people says that they're proud of being
who they are and what they do, where they're from.

Well, I am one of them too.
(^^)
Being a "Laotian" (Lao People)
makes me feeling special !!

When I look at beautiful opals like these ... their color reminds me of Lao traditional dress, which I often wear or have worn at Lao party many times before.

Doesn't it resembles Lao's beautiful dress like above?
Nice and bright, elegant and very silky ...

When I was younger, I dancedin front of 500+
people who attended to my cousin's wedding,
wearing Lao silk dress, colors exactly like the opal color showing here ...

Red, Gold, Orange, just 'firely' and 'passionate'
and 'brightest' - breathtaking and unbelievably gorgeous, every time I wear Lao traditional dress,
it made me feel like I was a super star, feeling really
special & the best, with pride!!

Perhaps, these opals are also 'feeling' the same (?!)

Being Australian, being Solid ... and being
'Red / Orange' colors, being black opal or boulder opal ..
standing right up, above any other colors,
must be feeling the greatest !!!

Of course, many other colors are beautiful in their own.
To see our huge collection,
please check this site out.

Just be confident and happy, when you see & touch
this amazing colors ...

As for me, it's the color of my life, my passion,
my dream and happiest memories of my country,
LAOS  (^^)

Only Australian Opal can show colors like this!!

Love Australia, Love Australian Opals and
Love the color of Lao traditional dress ...
Have a nice day everyone!!

OPAL MINING ...

Mining Boulder Opal in Queensland, Australia -
is not an easy job. It's hot out there, it's a remote area,
can be a lonely place ... and most of all it costs you
"fortune" to become an OPAL MINER ...
yet not many people understands it.

I drove up to a place called "WINTON" from Gold Coast, approximately 1,600km far North from where I live last week.
It was a long drive in max heat but was worth visiting ...

On my way up, all I could see was lots of
"road works" and "heaps of dead kangaroos" !!!
That was all I could remember anyway  (^^;)

Two days later, I finally arrived & met a
BIG BOULDER OPAL MINER in WINTON (Happy Valley)
called Vlado with his lovely wife June,
also Vlado's son (handsome ) Paul.

What Vlado & Paul do all day is just moving
an excavigator to remove sand rocks,
dig, dig and more digging, non stop !!!!
They spend so much money on fuels just to
keep moving this monster machine.

And only rarely ... very rarely indeed, you'll be able to
see a piece of  "rainbow" like an image here,
if you're lucky. Unfortunately not many miners are
as lucky as Vlado though ... sad ...

The buyers often ask me "why is Australian Opal so expensive"
or "why can't you supply more high quality black opal
& boulder opal from Australia regularly" ...

And my answers to this is "because it costs a lot to
set up even before start mining opals,
too much costs & too much efforts to find too little opals
and quality Australian black opal & boulder opal
is extremely rare, much more rare & precious
than many other gemstones" !!!!!

I think you've got to be crazy or unique to stay
in OPAL BUSINESS,
but once you get involved ...
It's in your blood for the rest of your life.

Fortunate or ufortunate ??!!?

It was really a pleasure to get to know Vlado,
beautiful June & Paul at their camp.
They are such hard working miners,
lovely personels, have experiences & histories
in opal industry. Without passionate people like them,
the world won't be able to see or touch an amazing
"Australian Boulder Opal" from Queensland, Australia.

Oh, not to forget to mention that June is a wonderful COOK too!! She made us home grown salads, vegie pies,
pasta salads and yummy
BARRAMUNDI FRITTER   (^^) !!

A hard work can not end without a great meal, right?!?
I guess Vlado loves June so much because she's beautiful inside out, she's patient, she's smart and
above all, she's a great cook.

Thanks for their hospitality!!!
