Missing good time with these fellows, who mines opal for us in Australia !!!

Norm

(boulder opal miner in QLD, Australia) ...

Peter (left) & Ken (right)

black opal miners in Lightning Ridge,
NSW, Australia.

These guys are amazing.

Working hard under the heat, looking for precious opal (solid, black opal & boulder opal)
for us so that we can introduce it to the world !!!   ^^

To see beautiful collection  →   http://www.opal-direct.com

And my big duty is ....

Before being able to introduce it to the world, I have to sit down in front of "the most beautiful gem on earth  -  OPAL" and examine its condition first.
And ask myself the following questions.

*  Is there any scratch, crack, damage, obvious imperfection on the opal ?

*  What is the carat weight, the exact measurements and all details of each opal ?

*  How much will it be in today's market (what is the best price to offer) ?

*  How should I design & set it in the jewelry so the beauty will show most ?

*  What's the best method to show its beauty professionally ?

*  Where & who will be the most suitable place / person to take it home ?

*  Am I confident enough to sell it and guarantee my clients forever ?  etc ...

When all is done & prepared,
we then list our opal collection to show to everyone !!

Beautiful thing does not come around easily ...

Without these fellows hard work and my part,
you might not be able to see these
"rainbow collection" today.

Designing more for solid, Australian opal !!

When creating design for an opal,
you don't need to add too much of other gems
and heavy details ... I believe it's better for an opal to
be designed simple and get the right angle.

That's most important.

Australian black opal, boulder opal does not
come around easy so respect an opal and
design something really nice.

Don't you think so?

Best of the best from Australia !!

Beautiful Australian Black Opal ...

Black Opal is a precious gem stone which is found only in Australia in the past 100 years.

This is quite a recent find compare to other gems.

The production of Black Opal has been dramatically reduced in the past 10 years.

This is because Black Opal is extremely difficult to find and many Lightning Ridge (Black Opal field) miners
have left the field with empty pockets.

It is now almost impossible to run the machinery due to the high cost of petrol, as well as all other expenses.

So we hope you'll treat your black opal from
Lightning Ridge extra careful & love.

Money can not replace this beauty.
Guaranteed !!

Selling, Selling, "SOLD" !!!

Selling more and more of 'HIGH QUALITY'
pieces like this ...

Solid, Australian black opal loose stone,
nice proportion with medium dome cabochon,
has over 7.0ct in size, showing some large & beautiful pattern, has 'play of color' and comes with a very dark,
black body tone !!

And the price is right !!!   (^^)

What more could you ask for ??!?

Check out our new collection, which we've just listed online today.

Now that we need new quality opals to replace
what's been sold lately ...

Our fear is the production of Lightning Ridge's
black opal is so low and the price is sky rocking.

The miner is struggling to find any new,
bright opals with dark body tone in opal mine.

How much more can the miner
continue mining opals ?

How much more the price of this 'rare gem'
will continue going up ??

Only GOD knows, haha.

Anyway, while our quality opal's still
available to be purchased online,
do not miss out a chance everyone.

Keep looking for special pieces because
our opals won't be around for the current price
for much longer !!

Less opals therefore more value.

Thanks for your understanding.
(^^)

Opal Jewelry ...

Opal Jewelry ...

Some opal lover might not like any design around their favorite opal and some might.
It depends on their personality and how they'll use it daily.

As for myself, I prefer to have beautiful
design to go with a high quality black opal like this
(^^)

This particular item - a black opal pendant top
in K18 white gold & diamonds.

I believe this will be another good investment
if I can keep it for myself for many years!

Love the color, flashy pattern,
perfect form and overall balance with the design.

Love Australian black opal from Lightning Ridge.

Best of the best, this is.

Extraordinary Australian Opal !!

Big or small ...

Perfect or imperfect ...

Colorful or not ...

I guess everyone has different taste, when seeking for something unique & special.

Beautiful collection can be seen online

Feel the earth ?!?

This boulder opal rock weights just over 10kg,
killing my back, when carrying it from Quilpie opal field (Queensland, Australia) to the Gold Coast office.

Now it's safely arrived in Japan,
ready to be exhibited in the Gem & Mineral Show
(Tokyo, Ikebukuro).

Super 'extraordinary piece' !!

Australian opal is always popular among gem lovers
due to its individuality and preciousness.

Not just for the beauty but also for the ' strong character' which other gemstone can not offer.

This lovely black opal specimen is another showpiece, found at Lightning Ridge, W.S.W, Australia.

Look at this ...

And that ...

And more ...

No other gems can replace anything like this
(a funny face of boulder opal specimen) right ??!!?

If you won't find this gemstone 'extraordinary' ...
then what will ?

(^^)

Look at this black opal loose.

Opal's color play, strong character, depth in color,
unique shape, amazing pattern, vividness, preciousness, every piece has its own story and every piece is
loved like no other gems !!!

Unstoppable beauty, sometimes the play of color
reminds me of women's 'mood swing' but it's not such a bad thing, because women amazing !!

(^^)

And when it gets harder to understand,
the more interested and appreciated you'll become,
in the end.

My point is, when you find this gemstone amazing,
you' will feel lucky & will enjoy life a bit more than others, guaranteed.

No need to be perfect or glittery like others ...
Just be natural, be a bit special in your own way !!

Love Australian black opal & boulder opal.

I am not perfect ... but still 'pretty special' !!

Australian opal, especially black opal is 'very rare' ...
So rare that an opal loose like this 318K
( showing sand spots and potch lines on its surface )

will still be high priced due to its large size, desirable shape, bright colors, high play of color and dark body tone.

For more to view, check it on YouTube

↓

Another piece of black opal loose like this is super pretty !!!

However some buyers may say it's not so perfect due to its light body tone and unique shape,
difficult shape to set into jewelry, etc.

Often offered by much lower price many year ago
but not the same case today.

This black opal (semi black opal) is beautiful for its clean face, flashy pattern, strong character and large carat size, vivid colors and the color combination, its unique shape can add a bit of value for some jewelry designers!

View its prettiness on YouTube

↓

Selecting Australian black opal can be difficult and time consuming, as they don't come around easily and the price is often high, a bit higher than what many
people can imagine anyway.

Also since it's so precious, there's no other piece to replace
if you miss out a chance to buy one ...

A perfect piece of black opal or not so perfect,
it all depends on how you think and see it.

I guess it's really important that you take time to examine each piece of opal and consider carefully by seeing many more and study more before you decide to buy one.

That way, you'll love this gem for a long time.

Money can not replace its beauty, guaranteed !!!

Enjoy beautiful collection of top black opals.
