I am not perfect ... but still 'pretty special' !!

Australian opal, especially black opal is 'very rare' ...
So rare that an opal loose like this 318K
( showing sand spots and potch lines on its surface )

will still be high priced due to its large size, desirable shape, bright colors, high play of color and dark body tone.

For more to view, check it on YouTube

Another piece of black opal loose like this is super pretty !!!

However some buyers may say it's not so perfect due to its light body tone and unique shape,
difficult shape to set into jewelry, etc.

Often offered by much lower price many year ago
but not the same case today.

This black opal (semi black opal) is beautiful for its clean face, flashy pattern, strong character and large carat size, vivid colors and the color combination, its unique shape can add a bit of value for some jewelry designers!

View its prettiness on YouTube

Selecting Australian black opal can be difficult and time consuming, as they don't come around easily and the price is often high, a bit higher than what many
people can imagine anyway.

Also since it's so precious, there's no other piece to replace
if you miss out a chance to buy one ...

A perfect piece of black opal or not so perfect,
it all depends on how you think and see it.

I guess it's really important that you take time to examine each piece of opal and consider carefully by seeing many more and study more before you decide to buy one.

That way, you'll love this gem for a long time.

Money can not replace its beauty, guaranteed !!!

Enjoy beautiful collection of top black opals.

NEW black opal & boulder opal for you !!

We have new, exciting, quality opals for you.

Visiting opal miners in Lightning Ridge (N.S.W) and Quilpie (Queensland) has paid off our hard work.

How great it was, when we saw some
beautiful black opals like these ...
right in front of our eyes !!

Then this bright piece of red color, flashy pattern,
what a beautiful black opal loose ...

And this vivid, ultra bright, black body black opal ...

Love its play of color, the depth,
flashy collectible pattern, smooth, long oval shape,
just 'perfect' for a stunning ring !!!

Some boulder opal is as exciting as top quality black opals.

You can not walk pass this rainbow color
boulder opal loose, love its large, strong pattern
and a lovely triangular shape.

Any jewelry designer would be happy to work on this piece for its amazing character, its distinguished beauty and a perfect shape.

Not only 'red' will impress everyone.

Look at this 'gorgeous' blue & green combination!

So intense, so perfect in colors,
easy to work on size, its ultimate and
you just can't stop staring at it.

Another wonderful piece of boulder opal
from Queensland, Australia.

Souvenir from Lightning Ridge (^^)

As I've mentioned earlier, my partner and I went to Lightning Ridge a week before and it was another quick trip as usual.

Saw some friends who are still mining in the Sheepyard & Grawine field, digging non-stop and if they find one nice piece of black opal, they'd run to the pub and exchange it with some cold beers (haha) !!

If you think I am joking, just go and visit the mine and see it for yourself.
You'll understand what I mean ... and you'll probably want to join them for a drink & some laughters.

Love their spirit anyway !!!

Not much of luck ...
Although we could not find many quality materials at the field, we've managed to purchase some "Red On Black" in Lightning Ridge town.

Also there was one copy of this amazing opal book at Information Centre (A$45), we grabbed it and asked for more at the counter.

Unfortunately this copy seems to be the last one available. Pity, some buyers of ours would love to have it, if there's more available.

Running and digging - enjoyed beautiful sunrise & sunset while driving. Had more beers after arrived back in our cabin

Just wished we could find more of a quality like this for our clients all over the world  ...  (^^)
Too rare, too dear.

Anyway, enough of my talk.
Cheers everyone !!!

Gold Coast is perfect today, not too hot or cold.

Love my life involving with
beautiful Australian opals ...

More "opals with smiles" please !!!!!

Looking for more opals for our clients around the world !!!

The reality is harsh though ...
Less quality black opal and boulder opal can be found today, and if there's one, the price tends to be much higher than you're expected.

Our mission is to keep finding the right material, solid Australian opal for the right price, to the right person, in order to keep ourselves & our clients happy .

And the opal industry, of course!   ^^

If you check through our website, you'll fully understand what we meant by 'keeping every happy' ...

The quality of opal is at its maximum and the price, can't complain, right ??!!?   ^^

Finding Australian boulder opal in Queensland (Quilpie, Winton and Opalton) is extremely difficult.

And Black opal from Lightning Ridge is valuable,
too rare and too dear ...

How can we work hard, closely with opal miners today is another task for the wholesaler like us.

Always a big 'challenge' for us!
But loving what we do, haha.

Trying not to lose is a 'hope' and a 'big smile'  (^^)
That's the spirit within all OPAL LOVER !!!

Life is hard at opal mines, but
"Cheers!" my friend.
