My boss opened Gemstory 8 years ago.
Since then, we keep very simple rules.
No.1 Keep our showroom clean & tidy always!
(No finger print on windows and opals. Display has to be replaced and straightened after customer left.)
No.2 Smile. NO matter how we feel, SMILE!
No.3 Customer is always number one priority!
No.4 Help people as much as possible. Even though they don't purchase anything.
As a result, my boss is still running his business while many opal shops have closed in the last 10 years...
I think our rules are very basic, but the most important things to do.
Moreover, I believe that those rules would be an essential part of relationships among family, a partner and friends!!
